With the end of August rapidly approaching, I thought I would catch you up on some of the updates I made in my TpT store over the summer. It’s a slow process, but I’m going through each product in my store to proofread for typos, update templates, add new activities, and more!
Skim through the updated products below, and you can click through to see the entire product in my store.
The updated version of this assessment features a brand new layout to make things even easier to use. Directions have also been updated and moved to the top of each assessment area, rather than one group of directions pages at the beginning of the assessment. AND, many areas have been expanded to include more stimuli.
This product now includes anchor pages for instruction and SIX activities for working on staying on topic. These activities address staying on topic in a variety of ways, including sorting to identify what’s on topic and what’s not, sorting to identify the ways we can continue a topic, fixing conversations, finishing conversations, generating questions and comments on a topic, and scripting conversations.
This product received several additions over the summer! Originally, this product featured just 10 stories and questions were presented on small task cards.
Now, this product contains 40 stories with 1 large task card to accompany each story—that means more stimuli and less prep for you!
There are 20 fiction stories and 20 non-fiction texts included. Half are 3 sentences long and half are 4 sentences long, but all contain a variety of sentence types, including simple, compound, complex, and compound-complex.
I’ve also included my comprehension tools anchor page from this product as a bonus, and have added a simple set of student response worksheets for them to write down their answers.
Another big update in the store is my stuttering monitoring charts! These have been one of my top sellers for going on a decade and somehow I hadn’t updated them 🙈
But, that’s all changed now! The updated version features brand new, easier to use layouts AND an updated review section that includes objective and subjective follow-up questions for students.
The stuttering strategy descriptions have also been updated for clarity and appropriateness.
I’m really excited about these updates, and I hope you are too! If you see something that you think will help make your teaching life happier… you know what to do!
Sending you loads of happiness until next time,
Christin ☕️
